Covid-19 Safety Precautions and Client Communication at The Wimbledon Clinic Massage.

There are plenty of steps we take to protect our clients and ourselves from the Covid-19 virus.

Our community

The wellbeing of our community is our absolute top priority. With COVID-19 outbreak, we’re committed to closely follow the updates, while keeping everyone’s health, the most important task.

As it is in the nature of the profession of a massage therapist, our practitioner’s tasks include the highest hygiene standards. With the current situation, we came with a new, Covid-19 prevention approach which means we take extra precautions when it comes to bacterial and viral infections.

The steps we are taking to combat the virus

To begin with, we are very cautious when it comes to our work colleagues signs of illness and isolating when that occurs. We’re in constant contact with all relevant authorities to make sure that we continue to do everything we can to prevent Covid-19 spread.

Our therapist pays particular attention to the surfaces that customers and colleagues touch most regularly.

We use Chlorhexidine (Hibi scrub) hand wash before and after every client’s treatment.

Antibacterial alcohol gel is available in each treatment room as well.

Our massage practitioner uses antibacterial wipes before and after each session-to wipe massage couches, chairs and any equipment used, as well as vinyl gloves during treatment to ensure you feel that extra safe.

We don’t use couch covers to make sure the surface can be kept 100 % sterile during treatments.

New set of towels are used for each client and are washed in 60 degrees straight afterwards.

Client communication.

A good practise means carrying out additional screening practises before clients arrival. We would like to ask our clients to promote Covid-19 virus prevention by committing to the rules, including; -rescheduling your appointment if you feel unwell, -keeping your hands clean, wash regularly-at the beginning and the end of the visit,-when sneeze, cover your face with a tissue or elbow, followed by washing your hands straight after,  - if you experience a new persistent cough, have a high temperature or have come into contact with a confirmed case of Coronavirus, please do not attend your appointment, self-isolate for 14 days and call.
